Rental of the HOUSE's premises

Note! To submit a rental request for the HOUSE, there must be at least two weeks prior to the event. If there is less time, please contact us directly to inquire if it is possible at booking@studentsamfunnet.no.
The rental and possibility of having an open bar depend on available capacity and whether we have enough volunteers to staff the event. This will be agreed upon in more detail after we have received the request. We will provide a price quote based on our price list and simultaneously assess how many bartenders, security staff, and other personnel need to be present.
Facilities at the HOUSE
Capacity:
Up to 400 people standing.
Approximately 180 people seated, 130 at long tables.
Seating:
125 chairs, with the possibility to borrow up to 150 additional chairs.
Tables:
14 tables available, with the option for more if needed.
Entertainment:
Shuffleboard and table tennis.
Technical Equipment:
Stage with sound system.
Projector with HDMI connection, which can also be used to play music.
Sound and light console (extra charge for rental).
Subject associations and student groups can rent the premises for free, however, any additional services such as a bar, sound and lighting equipment, or extra staffing may incur additional costs.
Important information about bringing your own drinks:
Due to the liquor license, it is not permitted to bring alcohol into the premises, even if the bar is closed.
Bringing your own mineral water is allowed, If the bar is closed.
If the bar is to be open, all drinks, including mineral water, must be purchased through the bar.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I set up the venue myself?
Yes, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. You are also responsible for cleaning up after the event.
Can I set up the day before?
Yes, unless there are other events or situations that make it impossible. If you wish to set up the day before, an additional fee will apply.
Can I clean up the day after?
No, it must be cleaned up the same evening.
