About us
What is the difference between Huset, Vestfold Studentsamfunn, SSN, and USN?
Huset er studenthuset og er kun et lokale med scene og bar.
Vestfold Studentsamfunn is a volunteer organization run by students, and we are the ones who operate the House. VS is an independent organization that is not affiliated with SSN or USN.
SSN is the student welfare organization that operates the student housing, cafeteria, café, fitness center, and bookstore on campus.
USN is the University of South-Eastern Norway.
Volunteering
How do I become a member of the board?
You can either attend the general assembly, which is held around February each year, or contact us to express your interest :)
It’s a long time until the general assembly—can I join the board now?
If we have available positions, we do supplement throughout the year, so you don’t have to wait until the general assembly to apply. Just get in touch with us :)
I’m not sure if volunteering is right for me—can I try it out before committing to three shifts?
It’s absolutely possible to do a trial shift before fully signing up as a volunteer! Just let us know.
Tickets
Are the tickets refundable?
Tickets purchased from us are unfortunately non-refundable.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
It is not possible to transfer your ticket to someone else. Tickets are personal and can only be used by the person whose name is on the ticket.
Should I buy tickets in advance?
It's a good idea to buy tickets in advance! Prices may increase at the door, and the event could sell out.
Facility rental
Can I set up the venue myself?
Yes, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. You are also responsible for cleaning up after the event.
Can I set up the day before?
Yes, unless there are other events or situations that make it impossible. If you wish to set up the day before, an additional fee will apply.
Can I clean up the day after?
No, it must be cleaned up the same evening.
