In addition, you will gain work experience and enjoy several great benefits. As a volunteer, you can contribute by working at the bar, setting up events, technical crew, and security duties*
We have no requirements for prior knowledge; everyone will receive the necessary training to perform their tasks. It is, of course, also perfectly fine to ask for help or additional training along the way.

The only commitment you make is to work as a volunteer three times per semester at HUSΞT.
As a security guard, you are required to work at 10 of HUSΞT’s events

Everyone who volunteers with us must sign a volunteer contract. Anyone signing up as a security guard must sign a security guard contract and complete and pass a security guard course. More information will follow.

Vestfold Students' Society is looking for engaged students who want to become certified security guards! If we get enough participants, a free security guard training course will be held at the Student House for participants. If you wish to join, you can fill out the form below, but please note that this does not guarantee you a spot in the course. Please make sure to review the requirements below before signing up.

Requirements for course participation:
Nearly flawless conduct (please contact us if you're unsure, a police certificate will be checked).
Good proficiency in both Norwegian and English.
Must work as a volunteer at least 6-8 events (specified upon agreement).
Professional and polite conduct while working.
Must sign a course agreement and employment contract.
*If you do not pass the course, fail to meet the conduct requirements, or do not fulfill the contract terms (e.g., volunteering at the minimum number of events), you will be invoiced for the cost of the security guard training course.
